DESCRIPTION:The 7th Annual Evergreen Mountain Art Celebration June 29 & 30 is a juried fine art and fine craft show that  will showcase 60 professional artists from Colorado and beyond. The show will once  again be presented at The Evergreen North shopping complex – just off Evergreen Parkway next to the Evergreen post office.  3719 Evergreen Parkway * Evergreen  CO * 80439.  Saturday 9 am to 4 pm  Sunday 9 am to 4 pm \nThe show will feature mountain-living oriented\,  Western\, Southwestern\, and rustic artists at this historic mountain bedroom community west of Denver. Mediums will include painting\, jewelry\, sculpture\, ceramics\, wood\, metal\, and many more.  The dates for the show have been chosen carefully as this June weekend is  one of the city’s most alive and historically has enjoyed great weather.

They blend musical elements from singer/songwriter to classical music\, funk\, and electronica. The band consists of Chris Carter (lead singer/guitarist)\, Elvin Holderfield (keyboards)\, Rob Wiberg (bass) and Dominic Fante on drums. They place emphasis on having meaningful\, relatable lyrics over positive and energetic instrumentation. \nFormed in the fall of 2016\, they have since performed over 800 gigs – including appearances at prestigious venues such as Red Rocks Amphitheatre and Aggie Theatre. They have performed in many festivals throughout Colorado\, and in 2019\, toured several countries in Europe. Their releases include two EPs\, “Live Again” and “Have a Christmas”\, a collaborative meditation album called “Meditations for Mindfulness\, and over 10 singles – totaling over 100\,000+ streams. Visit www.evergreencreativedistrict.org \nFollowing Colorado Creative Industries “Call Yourself Creative” guidelines toward state \ncertification\, we have accomplished a lot this past year: \n• ECD has transitioned from an interim Board to a 501 C3 non-profit with an operational Board \nrepresenting a cross section of leaders from the arts\, cultural and business community. \n• We researched and published in the Jeffco Historical Journal\, a 150-year History of the Arts in \nEvergreen which in turn supports our branding Evergreen as a “Haven for Creatives” through \nlocal\, regional\, and state media as part of ECD’s tourism outreach efforts. \n• We commissioned a local artist to design and create our amazing Forever Stamp Logo that \ndrives our messaging\, “Creativity Lives Here” \n• ECD has been recognized by the leadership of the 30 other Certified Creative Districts in \nColorado and have been invited to be actively involved in efforts to further promote \nEvergreen’s creative industry throughout the state. \n• Our ECD website and Creative Calendar was launched this fall and continues to develop as \nwe modify its format and content based on feedback from the creative community. \n• Major articles published in Mountain Connection and Serenity Magazines announced and \nspread our message to area residents and businesses. \n• Public\, Private and Governmental entities throughout Colorado now support the fact that our \nareas largest industry is the Evergreen Creative Industry. \n• We have been recognized and applauded for our efforts by the leadership of Colorado \nCreative Industries (CCI)\, Colorado Business Committee for the Arts (CBCA)\, Jeffco County \nCommissioners\, State and Federal legislators\, the Evergreen Chamber of Commerce and \nother local business leaders. \n• We have brought together the leadership of Evergreens Arts organizations\, area Performing \nArts organizations\, and established a Live Music Task Force to develop collaborative \nprograming and work together to help sustain and promote events and other projects. \n• Responding to requests from neighboring communities\, ECD expanded its reach as a Cultural \nHub\, bringing together arts/cultural entities and creatives in the greater Evergreen area. \n• ECD is working with various Evergreen area nonprofits to help them qualify for regional\, state\, \nand federal grants that they would otherwise not qualify for. \n• We have begun working with Jeffco planning and zoning to impact future developments that \nsupport workforce housing and other initiatives that support our creative industry. \n• The ECD board has developed a long-range strategic plan that will help ensure that the quality \nof life we enjoy and have come to expect in the greater Evergreen Area continues for future \ngenerations. \nWhat’s ahead as we move into 2024: \n• ECD continues along the path towards CCI’s Creative District State Certification\, sustaining \nthe successful accomplishments of 2023\, and building upon them. \n• Major articles promoting the Evergreen Creative District are scheduled to appear in leading \nLifestyle publications. \n• An ECD Grantsmanship Task Force has planned a workshop on January 29th to help area \nnonprofits craft their grant applications.
